THE Fremantle Dockers have moved quickly to secure Hawthorn’s Bradley Hill, exchanging the compensation pick it received when Chris Mayne defected to Collingwood for the triple premiership player.

Hill will join brother Stephen at the port club on a three-year contract.

List manager Brad Lloyd said the Dockers were excited to add an experienced premiership player with elite running and skill levels to the side.

“We believe he will be a valuable acquisition to our playing list and be a long-term player for Fremantle,” he said.

“Bradley is really excited about returning home to WA and will relish the opportunity to play with Stephen.”

Hill, who was snapped up by the Hawks with pick 33 in the 2011 draft, formed part of the midfield that beat Fremantle in the 2013 grand final on the way to three straight flags.

Hill’s signature follows that of forward Cam McCarthy’s from Greater Western Sydney.
