Jessica NicoFremantle Gazette

Now in its seventh year, the event invites kite-surfers to compete on a 20km course from Leighton Beach to Brighton Beach in Scarborough. The event will raise money for Redkite, which helps support children and young people living with cancer. More than $45,000 has already been raised over the life of the event.

Weather permitting, the event is expected to kick off from Leighton Beach on Sunday.
