MORE than 13,600 games of AFL experience will be on show on when Victoria tackles the All Stars in the EJ Whitten Legends Game at Docklands Stadium on September 2.

The game is held annually to honour AFL legend EJ ‘Ted’ Whitten, who died of cancer in 1995, and to raise money for the foundation set up in his honour.

The All Stars side will feature former Fremantle skipper Peter Bell, high-flying forward Tony Modra and 2012 All-Australian full back Luke McPharlin. Running defender Paul Duffield likely to play across halfback.

Forward turned defender Chris Tarrant is pencilled in to represent Victoria.

West Coast Eagles Norm Smith medallists Andrew Embley and Peter Matera will slot into the All Stars’ midfield, while Scott Cummings should be in the side’s forward 50. Premiership Eagle Karl Langdon will also play.
