BRING together swimming, dancing, gymnastics and fun at SynchroWA’s Be In Sync Week celebrations.

The organisation is looking to promote the sport to the wider community, with 10 free synchronised swimming events around the metropolitan area, including Fremantle, Booragoon and South Lake.

SupaNova Synchronised Swimming Club president Lisa Galt said they were working hard to increase awareness of the sport.

“It is very important that we offer these free community events to help educate and inspire future generations of athletes to give synchro a go,” she said.

“Participants can expect to be introduced to some basic synchronised swimming techniques, which will form the basis of a fun routine to music by the end of the lesson.

“We hope it leads to more members joining the sport as ‘StarBursts’ in our beginner programs.”

Be in Sync Week starts in Fremantle on January 27.
