Fremantle Table Tenis Club members win medals at ping pong ding dong

Jessica NicoFremantle Gazette

FREMANTLE athletes have returned from a state table tennis competition with a raft of medals.

One of the youngest competitors in the field, Fremantle Table Tennis Club’s Lenny Properjohn, at just 14-years-old and living with Cerebral Palsy, took out the Athletes with Disabilities gold medal at the State Open Championships earlier this month.

An avid table tennis fan, and a player for the last three-and-a-half years, Fremantle Table Tennis Club’s Gordon Lee said Lenny had a bright future in the sport and could even hold his own against able-bodied players.
