BROWNLOW medallist Nat Fyfe has shrugged off an injury-interrupted off-season and will be right for Fremantle’s NAB Challenge opener on Friday.
Fyfe was today announced in the Dockers’ 29-man squad to face Richmond at Rushton Park.
The 24-year-old has recovered from a broken leg sustained at the back end of last season, as well as a serious back complaint.
Fyfe, together with new skipper David Mundy, Michael Barlow, Matthew Pavlich and Aaron Sandilands, form the crux of what is an experienced side.
Two new faces will be there, with 2015 draft picks Darcy Tucker and Sam Collins playing their first games for the team.
Tucker was recruited from North Ballarat with pick 27.
Collins was snapped up from the Box Hill Hawks with pick 55.
Gold Coast recruit Harley Bennell will not play.
Conversely, the Tigers have announced an inexperienced squad.
Among seven new players is Daniel Rioli, their first pick in last year’s draft, and second selection Oleg Markov.
