SWAN Districts proved far too good for South Fremantle on Saturday, running out 52-point winners.

The visitors were up by 10 goals at half-time, easing home 20.18 (138) to 13.8 (86) winners.

Kirk Ugle finished with four for the afternoon, pipped only by teammate Dayle Garlett, who finished with five as the most damaging forward for the afternoon.

DESPITE being jumped at the gates, West Perth came home strong to steal a one-point victory over Subiaco at Arena Joondalup on Saturday.

The home side was shocked early after the Lions led 36 to nil, but fought its way back to record the win 13.13 (91) to 13.12 (90).

Dockers forward Joshua Mellington booted three goals for the winners.

Perth is inside the top four after beating Peel Thunder by 50 points at Rushton Park on Saturday.

Demons debutant Callum Collard finished with four goals, with Perth holding off an early fightback to run out 18.9 (117) to 9.13 (67) winners.

Ten goals to three in the second half condemned Peel to its ninth loss of the year.
