Jessica NicoFremantle Gazette

A PAIR of brothers proved their mettle against some of the best surfers in the state at the recent WA School Surfing Titles.

John Curtin College of the Arts’ Moses and Archie Le Grice came second in the 18 and under senior boys’ competition behind Margaret River Senior High School, who took out the Champion School Title for the 12th consecutive year.

It is the second time the brothers have made the podium in as many years, the duo taking out the senior division in last year’s competition.

Surfing WA events manager Justin Majeks said the titles pitted the best young surfers in the state against each other.
