Local aims to topple world champion

But for boxer Lucas Browne, who trains out of One More Round Gym on Hampton Road, this situation will become a reality this weekend when he takes on world number one James ‘Lights Out’ Toney in Melbourne.

Despite his impressive opponent, Browne is an undefeated heavyweight boxer, winning his last 15 fights, 14 of which were by knockout.

Trainer Riccardo Monteleone said Browne was an amazing boxer and an even better role model.

‘I believe it is going to be a knockout for Lucas and that James’ lights are going out,’ he said.
