FIVE members of the Fremantle Roosters will be swapping the red, blue and white for black and gold after being selected in the WA squad competing in this week’s Combined Affiliated States Championships in Adelaide.

Fremantle residents Jarrod Thompson and Bradley Gibson, Beeliar’s Delane Edwards, Rockingham’s Taiapa Graham and South Lake’s James Aspden will play not just for their state, but for the chance to be selected in the Australian Combined Associates team taking on England in a warm up game for the upcoming World Cup.

Roosters captain Thompson said it was an honour to make the state team.
