SEVEN local students arrived at the National Taekwondo Championships in Bendigo empty handed, but returned to Samson with a haul of four medals.
Included in that tally were three gold medals, after French’s Martial Arts’ Diaz Gizzarone, Baxter Poulson and Matthew Summerfield (all 11) took out their respective competitions, while nine-year-old Louis Poulson won bronze.
Looking to add to their tally, the young students are now all in preparation for the CK International Classic Taekwondo Championships in Malaysia this month.
