GETTING into netball at the age of 10, Judith Pilatti has lived and breathed the sport for almost her entire life.
Recently retired after 30 years with the Fremantle Netball Association, Mrs Pilatti has been recognised for her service to the club, named a finalist in the Service to Sport category in the WA Sport Star awards next month.
She said she was “chuffed” with the recognition.
“It has been a huge part of my life, as well as my family, and we have made many friends over the years through netball,” she said.
“I have loved every minute of it and for my part; best of all was being able to provide a safe environment for women and girls to play netball.”
The WA Sport Star awards will be held on December 7.
