Jessica NicoFremantle Gazette

Competing in a strong eight-team division, Fremantle Sharks’ Peter Kuang, Pam Merredew, Gordon Lee, Carlo Giusti, Adam Peck and 12-year-old Xavier Kuang recorded their first win of the season in their round 2 match-up against the Great Wall Smashers, beating them 7-2.

Fremantle member Gordon Lee said the team had a diverse age range, himself representing WA in the Over 80 Years National Veterans Competition in October and Xavier using the competition as preparation for June’s National Junior Championships.

Fremantle will take on the Great Wall Evergreen in their next match on Thursday.
