The trio, including Jandakot’s Beatrice Devlyn, will tackle other states in the National School Girls Under-16s carnival.

The 15-year-old said she was expecting to spend time on the ball and across the halfback line.

‘I’ll be doing a fair bit of the ruck work as well as being expected to be able to run hard all day, create an option and make every contest,’ she said.

After missing last year’s carnival through injury, Beatrice ” who will join South Fremantle teammates Olivia Strandly and Tina Waddell ” is keen to make the most of the Darwin trip.
