The trio, including Jandakot’s Beatrice Devlyn, will tackle other states in the National School Girls Under-16s carnival.
The 15-year-old said she was expecting to spend time on the ball and across the halfback line.
‘I’ll be doing a fair bit of the ruck work as well as being expected to be able to run hard all day, create an option and make every contest,’ she said.
After missing last year’s carnival through injury, Beatrice ” who will join South Fremantle teammates Olivia Strandly and Tina Waddell ” is keen to make the most of the Darwin trip.
‘I’m looking forward to just getting the chance to represent my State and play a good brand of football and we are hoping to beat Victoria.’
‘We are really close and gelling really well as a team. We are starting to recognise each other’s strengths and weakness and working together really well.’
