Shane Turner, Danny Ivester, Todd Hatcher, Zane Tavinar and Mitchell Brown were in town ahead of their August trip to Pennsylvania where they will compete in the Little League World Series.

The Firebirds are one of 16 teams to have qualified for the tournament. More than 300,000 entered.

The players are expecting a media onslaught unlike anything experienced by junior athletes, with millions tuning in to watch the broadcast live on ESPN.
