WAFL: South Fremantle mauls East Fremantle in WA Day derby

Bryce LuffFremantle Gazette

SOUTH Fremantle has broken a two-match losing streak in fine fashion, demolishing East Fremantle in a WA Day derby rout yesterday.

The Bulldogs cruised to victory 28.17 (185) to 6.4 (40) at East Fremantle Oval to keep some sort of pressure on table-toppers Subiaco and ensure the Sharks remain winless after 11 rounds.

The visitors booted 10 goals in the opening term and kept the Sharks scoreless in a blitz that laid the foundation for the massive win.

Bulldogs midfield Tim Kelly continued an impressive season finishing with seven goals and 35 disposals for the match.
