SOME of the WAFLs best talent hit the track last night to prepare for the state clash against the South Australian National Football League later this month.
On a cold evening at Fremantle Oval, players spent about 20 minutes running through some light drills before heading back to the dugout.
It was their first training session together in the lead up to its meeting with the SANFL at Lathlain Park on May 23.
The squad will train at the WACA next Monday, with further preparation to take place at Subiaco Oval and Lathlain Park.
Those not currently in head coach Darren Harris squad are still in with a shot, with form and fitness over the coming weeks to play a part in the makeup of the game-day 25.
