Perth girl struck by car in serious condition

A 13-year-old girl is in a serious but stable condition after she was hit by a car on Stirling Highway, Cottesloe, Saturday afternoon.

She was walking across the road about 4.25pm when a black Dodge Caliber sedan travelling north struck her while she was in the right lane.

Police say the car had just passed through the Jarrad Street intersection. The girl was taken to Perth Children’s Hospital.

Traffic Enforcement Group officers want to speak to anyone who witnessed the crash or saw the girl or car before the crash. Anyone with information is asked to call 1800 333 000 or to make a report online.
