Kaleidoscope Festival wins at the Parks and Leisure Australia Awards

THE City of Joondalup’s inaugural Kaleidoscope Festival has won a prestigious Australian award.

The 2016 festival was named the National Event of the Year at the Parks and Leisure Australia Awards of Excellence on the Gold Coast on Tuesday.

It had won the State title and was recognised as WA’s Best New Event and Best Cultural, Arts or Music Event at the 2017 Australian Events Awards.

n The free Kaleidoscope 2017 – to be staged in the Joondalup City Centre from Thursday, November 9 to Sunday, November 12 – will feature 64 artists who will showcase their light installations, illuminations, projections, art and performances to a big audience.

People can visit the event site from 5pm daily; the lights come on at 7.30pm.
