“The market is a rain or shine event that will continue through 2016 to 2017,” she said.

“It is more than a farmers’ market, it will also be a community market.”

Farmers markets are a part of modern living, where people can buy fresh food from growers.

Ms Hunt said that there was a growing consumer interest in sourcing fresh produce directly from the grower.

“Taste the difference in farm fresh produce,” she said.

Ms Hunt said she was sourcing the fresh fruit and vegetable produce from grower Nat Audino, of Audino Growers, who had 30 years experience in wholesale and retail products.

Ms Hunt said shopping at a farmers’ market was a also great way to help the environment.
