A NEW market in High Wycombe will open on the first weekend in May.
The High Wycombe Farmers Market will be located at 58 Cyril Road and feature both indoor and outdoor stalls selling goods and wares.
Set up by Heidi Hunt, the market will run every Sunday from 8am to noon.
“The market is a rain or shine event that will continue through 2016 to 2017,” she said.
“It is more than a farmers’ market, it will also be a community market.”
Farmers markets are a part of modern living, where people can buy fresh food from growers.
Ms Hunt said that there was a growing consumer interest in sourcing fresh produce directly from the grower.
“Taste the difference in farm fresh produce,” she said.
Ms Hunt said she was sourcing the fresh fruit and vegetable produce from grower Nat Audino, of Audino Growers, who had 30 years experience in wholesale and retail products.
Ms Hunt said shopping at a farmers’ market was a also great way to help the environment.
