Perth weather: one of the coldest mornings of the year

Staff ReporterCommunity News

NO need to worry, you don’t have bad blood circulation. If you found yourself saying “it’s so cold this morning”, that’s because it was pretty darn chilly – for Perth at least.

The temperature in the city dropped to 3.7C at 6.51am; one of the coldest mornings of the year.

It’s still only about 4C as we write this at 7.21am.

And spare a thought for those in Jandakot – the coldest part of the metro area – where temperatures fell below 3C to 2.6C just before 7am.

It was similarly frosty at Perth Airport, which struck a particularly brisk 2.9C just before 6.50am.

We’re headed for a rain-free day though and a top of 18C with light winds.

The clear weather is predicted to hold through tomorrow and the weekend with a 20C max expected for Saturday.
