Wayans, known for creating and starring in Scary Movie and White Chicks, will make a guest appearance at Grand Cinemas Joondalup to introduce his new spoof movie, A Haunted House.
This time his movie takes aim at the ‘found footage’ horror phenomenon, including the Paranormal Activity movies and The Devil Inside. It follows young couple Malcolm (Wayans) and Keisha (Essence Atkins) who have moved in together and quickly realise they are not alone. Videotaping a series of paranormal events, Malcolm is shocked to discover the love of his life is possessed by an evil spirit, so he enlists the help of priest and ex-convict Father Williams.
The preview screening will be at 3pm, with Wayans doing a meet-and-greet from 2.30pm.
