AN opulent Mt Pleasant home took top honours at the recent 2019 HIA Perth Housing Awards.

The custom-built Zorzi house was named Perth Home of the Year.

It also won the award for overall Outdoor Project and the John Pietersen Award for Perth Custom Built Home of the Year.

The multi-level home has multiple living spaces, a huge outdoor area with pizza oven, built-in barbecue kitchen and fireplace, and amazing views.

HIA WA executive director Cath Hart said the judges were extremely impressed by the quality of workmanship.

“Every construction detail has been considered and was perfectly executed throughout this luxury home,” she said.

“By making use of such a spectacular location, the designers have captured all that the site offers outside, whilst also delivering each room as a complete and functional space.

“The design detailing throughout the home has been considered with the strong use of materials.”

“The quality of design and construction amongst this year’s winners and finalists is a true reflection of the passion and excellence being delivered in the Perth residential building industry.”
