RIDE-sharing giant Uber is giving away a week’s worth of free rides to anyone whose name is Sam.
Starting today, the call has gone out to anyone called Sam – from Samira, to Samuel, to Samantha or even Sampson – to register at uber.com/asksam.
As of Monday, August 21, all Sams who are registered will receive $20 worth of free Uber rides each day for a week.
According to Uber, Sam is one of the most common unisex names among the three million registered Uber riders across Australia.

Those without the name Sam can also get involved by getting someone they know called Sam to sign up and share a ride with them.
