POP icon Boy George will hit the decks as part of a DJ tour of Australia including a show at The Court Hotel on March 17.

Though the Culture Club frontman has spent a lot of time in the country over the past few years as a judge on The Voice Australia, he has never taken his DJ skills on a national tour here.

As well as releasing several DJ compilations, including Ministry of Sound’s flagship brand The Annual collaboration with Pete Tong, which has gone on to sell over 1 million copies around the globe, Boy George has made a name for himself as one of the most in-demand house music DJs, playing in more than 70 countries around the world.

His regular podcast Club Culture Radio has also become a a go-to destination for music lovers searching for the latest dance tracks.

Following six consecutive sold-out Sydney shows, Boy George will kick off his first Australian DJ tour in Melbourne, with shows also in Adelaide, Sydney and Perth.

Each show will also feature a string of local support acts that are yet to be announced.

All previous shows have sold out within 48 hours and they have a strictly limited capacity.

Tickets on sale from noon on Tuesday, February 5, with a pre-sale from 9am.
