City Wine festival gearing up for fifth birthday

THE City Wine festival will celebrate its fifth birthday this year when the two-day event runs at the Urban Orchard on June 8-9.

The festival brings the best drops from boutique wineries to the heart of Perth.

As well as wine, beverages from 25 stalls will include craft beer, cider and spirits.

There will also be a sparkling bar serving sparkling chardonnay, pinot noir, sparkling rosé, pét nat and sparkling shiraz – and a mojito bar for those who fancy a cocktail.

Tapas-style food will be available from Caviar Catering, Gyoza Joint, Tapasman, That Food Truck, The West Wings Co, Locale Kitchen, Shakshuka and Two Queens Woodfired Street Food.

There will also be live music from three-piece band The Prefix and from Hart Trio with its rhythm and blues, funk, jazz, rock, soul and pop will provide the entertainment.
