THE king of documentaries Louis Theroux will bring his stories back to Australia in January.

In conversation with Julia Zemiro, the multi award-winning BBC filmmaker will go behind the scenes of his documentaries in this new live show, Louis Without Limits.

The tour follows his sold-out shows in 2016 and will visit more cities including Perth, Adelaide, Brisbane, Canberra, Melbourne and Sydney.

“I was blown away by the overwhelming response to my first tour,” he said.

“I’ll be sharing memorable moments and stories from my latest films, giving insights into the process and exposing what happens after the camera stops rolling.”

From the scary truth of the opioid epidemic and the dark reality behind sex-trafficking, to religious extremes and a whole new rulebook on modern-day relationships, Theroux tackles it all.

Fans will also have the chance to ask questions.

The tour will kick off in Perth on January 12 at the Riverside Theatre.

Tickets on sale through Ticketek from 9am on June 24.

Fans can also catch Theroux’s new documentaries when they premiere in Australia on BBC Knowledge on June 27.
