Administration area upgrade for Yokine Primary School gives timely support

YOKINE Primary School is reaping the benefits of $350,000 in upgrades.

Students and staff welcomed Education Minister Sue Ellery and Mt Lawley MLA Simon Millman to the school on Thursday to view the refurbished administration area.

The upgrade includes a new sick room, secure storage area, foyer and offices.

“This year Yokine Primary School celebrates 60 years of delivering quality education to our community,” Mr Millman said.

“This timely investment has re-invigorated the administration building and supports the terrific work of the school administrators and senior officers.”

Education Minister Sue Ellery said the upgrade was part of the state government’s $468.7m investment in public schools.
