Aged care worker going the extra mile for Christmas cheer at Archbishop Goody

Julian WrightEastern Reporter

AN East Perth aged care worker has spent the last few years making sure Christmas cheer is spread throughout the residence.

Physiotherapy assistant Jennifer Smith likes to spoil Archbishop Goody residents every December 25, when many of them do not receive any visitors.

Ms Smith, who has worked there for five years, recruits her family and friends to buy a gift between $25 and $30 so each resident has one to unwrap on Christmas Day.
