Alexander Heights man (21) kicked in the groin after allegedly attacking two women in Northbridge

A WOMAN defending her female friend kicked their alleged male attacker in the genitals about 2.55am at the intersection of James and William streets, Northbridge on November 5.

It will be alleged the man subsequently punched one of his victims in the stomach and knocked over the other in the second of two punches to the face that caused her to suffer a fractured jaw.

“He claimed the women had said something to him as he was driving past, and it will be alleged he unbuckled his trouser belt and exposed his underwear,” Senior Sergeant Craig Davis said.

It will be alleged the argument then became more heated and the man kicked one of the women, who punched back, before her friend kicked the man in the genitals.

Sgt Davis said the man allegedly then kicked one the woman a second time, before punching another in the stomach and knocking her to the ground.

The women were taken by ambulance to Royal Perth Hospital.

An Alexander Heights man (21) was charged with grievous bodily harm for the alleged attack on a Midland woman (23) who suffered a fractured jaw, and assault of an Ellenbrook woman (30) who had minor injuries.

The man was bailed to reappear at Perth Magistrates Court on December 8.
