Alleged Perth paedophile ‘swingers’ party dad admits child abuse

A 45-year-old man accused of sexually abusing children during “swinging” sex parties in Western Australia has pleaded guilty to four of his 83 charges.

The man appeared in Perth Magistrates Court via video link from Casuarina Prison on Wednesday and admitted sexually penetrating one of his stepchildren three times and encouraging the same child to engage in sexual behaviour in 2015.

He is also accused of abusing a second stepchild.

The boy and girl were aged between five and six at the time of the first offence, which happened between 2011 and 2015, police allege.

They also claim that between 2001 and 2006, he sexually assaulted his two daughters, who were aged four at the time of the first offence, and in 2011, he abused a 14-year-old girl.

His charges include stupefying to commit an offence.

The man’s partner, a 39-year-old woman, has been charged with 93 offences as part of the same Taskforce Mirzam investigation and appeared in the same court via video link from Bandyup Prison on Wednesday.

She had her case adjourned while she seeks legal advice then raised her hand to ask a question but was swiftly silenced by the magistrate.

The pair’s co-accused, a 56-year-old man, also faced the court via video link from Hakea Prison and had his case adjourned while he seeks legal advice.

He is charged with 29 offences and is accused of abusing a girl and boy between 2011 and 2015.

Police say the children were aged five and six at the time of the first offence.
