Anglicare WA staff helping with fashion tips

Julian WrightEastern Reporter

PEOPLE have the chance to recapture vintage styles and help others less fortunate with the assistance of some Anglicare WA staff.

North Perth’s Anglicare WA Op Shop is offering vintage fashion tips for $20, which will go towards Anglicare WA’s Spring Appeal which funds programs helping children deal with sexual abuse, parental separation and domestic violence.

Vanessa Cook and Tierney McPortland, who both have stylist backgrounds, will be offering their expertise.

Anglicare WA Op Shops manager Lorraine Duffy said personal fashion consultants usually cost about 30 times that figure.

“This new North Perth op shop is our flag ship for quality vintage and designer clothes,” she said.

“Regarding this style of dress, it’s a great opportunity to see what suits you; we will advise according to your body shape and your natural colouring.

“Normally you could pay around $500 for a personal fashion consult but here our stylists only charge $20 to help you choose the clothes that will enhance your look.”

The shop is at 392 Fitzgerald St, North Perth and is open Wednesday to Saturday from 10am-4pm.
