A BABY bull shark has been caught on video swimming around Elizabeth Quay.

Wild West Charters’ Dave Macdonald quickly whipped out his phone to record the baby shark as it paid a visit to the Transperth Ferry Terminal on Monday.

The shark was seen lingering for up to 30 minutes, much to the delight of locals and visitors.

“It was swimming around right in the heart of Elizabeth Quay,” Mr Macdonald said.

“There were so many people about, everyone was recording it.”

Assuming it had found nothing of interest, the shark peacefully left the waterfront precinct.

The video recorded by Mr Macdonald has already reached more than 10 thousand views on Facebook.
