SARSHA Chisholm was “dobbed in” for modelling by a friend.
The 16-year-old Indigenous teenager signed with Leederville-based Vivien’s Model Management in November last year soon after a friend joined and told the agency about her green-eyed pal.
Within two weeks, Sarsha was booked by Target for a job in Melbourne.
A shoot for MAC Cosmetics in Sydney followed as well as her Perth catwalk debut at Perth Fashion Festivals Swim and Resort Series where she met her idol Samantha Harris.
“It was quite nerve wracking but it was good fun,” Sarsha said.
“It was great meeting her (Samantha) but I thought ‘what’s next to come if I’m meeting her at my first job?’”
The daughter of inaugural Fremantle Dockers player Scott Chisholm was among 10 Vivien’s models who wore Empire Rose for a fashion parade at the Nakuru Hope Inspirational Women’s Lunch on Sunday.
