Brisbane band Balloons Kill Babies to launch new EP at Northbridge gig

BRISBANE post rock band Balloons Kill Babies will launch its five-track EP Prodromal at The Boston in Northbridge on November 24.

The trio, featuring Christian Carter, Karl O’Shea and Scott Davey, will be supported by Perth bands Spirals and Skygazor on the night.

Balloons Kill Babies has already found success since releasing its debut EP Leviathan in 2013 and 2015 single Patches In The Sky, with airplay in Triple J.

In 2016, the band was nominated for a QMusic Award for Patches In The Sky and performed at the award ceremony.

Davey said the band had toured the country independently sharing the stage with home-grown acts including Like Thieves, Caligula’s Horse, Voyager and Sydonia.
