Burger chain Grill’d to feed the homeless in Perth this Christmas Eve

BURGER chain Grill’d will close the doors of its Brookfield Place store to feed the homeless this Christmas Eve.

One hundred of Perth’s most needy will be offered a selection of Grill’d’s most popular burgers and chips for breakfast from 9am-11am.

Volunteers from Uniting Care West, St Bartholemew and Milk and Honey will make the visitors welcome to the outlet.

Grill’d’s MD Simon Crowe says Christmas can be a time of high stress for people living on the street.

“Giving people in need a meal on us and chatting to them is the least we can do, and if we can positively impact their lives through little gestures like these, especially at Christmas, then it makes everything we do worthwhile,” Mr Crowe said.
