Burglar in site worker’s clothing caught on camera

A BURGLAR posed as a building site worker at the Gledden Building, Hay Street, Perth between 3pm and 4pm on January 4.

“On exiting the building he was wearing a white hard hat and credentials, a construction hi-vis jacket, and was carrying a large, white bin,” Constable Kate Taylor said.

The burglar got the building’s fourth floor, before taking a computer hard drive, top laptops, an iPad, stationary, a jacket, digital camera and a thumb drive, all of which he put in a white tub before CCTV captured him when he left.

He was described as slim, Caucasian, and wore a white shirt, dark trousers and a dark Ferrari cars cap when he entered the building.
