IT is business as usual for the WA AIDS Council’s Murray Street office from today.

Doors have re-opened and all services have resumed at the office, which closed two weeks ago when wild weather caused significant damage to both levels of the building and some electrical equipment.

WA AIDS Council chief executive David Kernohan said staff had to use buckets to catch water leaking into the building during the recent storm.

An email alert about the re-opening of the office thanked everyone for their “understanding and patience during this unexpected closure”.
