Cardigan used to conceal stolen iPad from Perth fast food outlet, police looking for suspect

A WOMAN hid an iPad in a cardigan when she stole it from another customer at Subway in Raine Square, Perth about 2.30pm on December 14.

Senior Sergeant Craig Davis said the female customer briefly left her iPad on a table at the shop.

“The suspect sat down at the table and slipped the iPad under a cardigan she was carrying,” Sgt Davis said.

The woman bought a sandwich then left the store with the tablet still under the cardigan.

She was described as blonde, light skin, 30 to 40, heavily built, and wore a green top while carrying a red bag.
