Cashed-up at Christmas: WA delivers three unclaimed Division 1 winners ahead of a bumper Lotto week

Staff WriterEastern Reporter

THREE West Australians have had a Christmas to remember after each taking home more than $420,000 in the weekend’s Saturday Lotto draw.

The Division 1 winning Lotto tickets, which remain unclaimed, were purchased from Parry’s Newsagency in Nollamara, The Village News in High Wycombe and Lotterywest membership online.

For High Wycombe, it’s the second Division 1 winner sold in the suburb in just seven months, following a $2.6 million win in May.

“For me, this is the perfect Christmas present,” The Village News owner Jimmy Wang said.

“’I’ve had the store for six years and I’ve just delivered our first big winner – I’m very excited!” he added.

This year WA has produced 64 Division 1 Lotto winners who have shared in over $122 million worth of prizes.

For those wanting to be initiated into the Division 1 club, the $25 million Powerball jackpot tomorrow night will help you get there, followed by one of the biggest Lotto events of the year – the $30 million Megadraw on Saturday 30 December.

“We’re hoping to open the door of our Winners Room to a few more newly minted millionaires before the year is out,” Lotterywest spokeswoman Pina Compagnone said.

Tickets for this week’s draws are available until 6pm draw day from Lotterywest in-store, online or by downloading the Lotterywest app.
