Further charges laid over alleged Perth paedophile ‘swingers’ ring

WA Police have charged another two men as part of their investigation into an alleged paedophile ‘swingers’ ring.

Taskforce Mirzam detectives charged two men aged 45 and 56 with a total of 101 additional offences as a result of their ongoing investigation into child sexual abuse.

The 45-year-old man has been charged with 79 offences and the 56-year-old man has been charged with 22 offences.

It is alleged between 2001 and 2006 the 45-year-old man sexually assaulted his two biological daughters.

Both daughters were four years old at the time of the first offence.

He has been charged with two counts of having a sexual relationship with a child and two counts of indecently dealing with a child under 13 years.

Between 2011 and 2015 the 45-year-old man allegedly sexually assaulted his stepdaughter and stepson who were aged between five and six at the time of the first offence.

He has been charged with 65 offences relating to his stepchildren.

The charges are:

– 41 counts of indecent dealings with a child/lineal relative; – 14 counts of sexual penetration of a child/lineal relative; – four counts of stupefying in order to commit an indictable offence; – three counts of encourage child sexual behaviour; – two counts of failing to protect a child; and – one count of persistent sexual conduct.

It is also alleged that in 2011, the 45-year-old man sexually assaulted a young girl who was 14 years old at the time of the first offence.

He has been charged with:

– four counts of sexual penetration of a child over 13 years and under 16 years of age; – four counts of indecent dealings with a child over 13 years and under 16 years of age; and – two counts of stupefying in order to commit an indictable offence.

It is alleged between 2011 and 2015, a 56 year old man sexually assaulted a girl and boy who were aged five and six at the time of the first offence.

He has been charged with: 15 counts of Indecent Dealing of a Child under 13 years;

– Five counts of Sexual Penetration of a Child under 13 years; – One count of Persistent Sexual Conduct; and – One count of Stupefying in Order to Commit an Indictable Offence.

Both men are due to appear before the Perth Magistrates Court tomorrow, Wednesday, 18 April 2018.
