City of Perth commissioners terminate CEO Martin Mileham’s contract

COMMISSIONERS for the City of Perth have voted to terminate the contract of chief executive Martin Mileham.

The decision came at a special council meeting this afternoon and is effective immediately.

Mr Mileham will be paid in lieu of notice.

He has been on leave since February amidst claims of workplace bullying and following an investigation by law firm Herbert Smith Freehills .

Chair commissioner Eric Lumsden thanked Mr Mileham for his service to the City.

Director of Planning and Development Erica Barrenger is continuing as acting chief executive.
