City of Vincent embracing all things bicycle

Julian WrightEastern Reporter

THE City of Vincent is celebrating all things cycling and recycling at next weekend’s Bike Swap Meet ahead of its Ride to Work Day breakfast.

Cyclists with spare pre-loved bike parts, or keen to buy a new bike or parts, are encouraged to head to the Barlee Street Carpark on Saturday, October 15 from 8am to 12pm, with stalls including dragsters, vintage and historical bikes and road bikes.

Sellers must register their stall for $10 with a form from http://www.vincent.wa.gov.au/Home, with the fee going to the Bikes for Humanity charity.

On Tuesday, October 13, people are encouraged to leave their vehicles in their garage and cycle down to Oxford Street Reserve for a Ride to Work breakfast.
