THE results of a survey commissioned by the City of Vincent have placed its performance at the top of 25 Perth councils.
The independent survey was prepared by Catalyse for the City earlier this year and mailed to 1000 randomly selected households. It received 556 responses.
The results had Vincent as the leading local government body in 18 categories, and top overall with a score of 82 out of 100.
Vincent placed 16th in a similar survey in 2010.
Mayor John Carey said the City’s attempts to lift transparency and accountability standards were making a difference. “The City has been undergoing the most significant changes in the 21 year history of the organisation and it’s great to see our community has noticed the difference we’re making,” he said.
