Community raises concerns at Menora safety forum

Prestige PublishingEastern Reporter

BIKE theft, car break-ins, antisocial behaviour and hooning were the main issues for residents who attended a community safety forum at Alexander Park Tennis Club early this month.

Local police who attended the event revealed there had been a reduction in stealing from motor vehicles in Morley every month since November thanks to a police operation in that area.

Mt Lawley MLA Simon Millman, who hosted the event that was also attended by Police Minister Michelle Roberts, City of Stirling Community Safety coordinator Brett Spencer and Morley Officer in Charge Senior Sergeant Tony Vuleta, said the community also heard about the State Government’s Methamphetamine Action Plan.
