COMO The Treasury was among the big winners of the 2016 Australian Hotels Association (AHA) Hospitality Awards for Excellence at Crown Perth earlier this month.
The venue, along with its restaurants and chefs, took out six of the 42 awards presented on the night, which recognises restaurants, hotels, pubs, bars and tourism venues for their success and dedication to the industry.
COMO The Treasury’s general manager Anneke Brown said the team was delighted to be recognised for their hard work.

“It is a credit to the whole team and the service they deliver every day and they should feel very proud to be recognised alongside their peers in our industry.”
AHA (WA) chief executive Bradley Woods said the future of WA hospitality was bright thanks to the high level of passion demonstrated by the staff and leaders of the businesses named as finalists and winners.
“WA’s hotels, bars and dining venues are playing an ever-increasing role in the State’s economy, and it’s important to recognise the hard work of the people who make it all happen,” he said.
Petition Beer Corner won the Lion Bar Presentation and Service Award, Wildflower took out the Premium Restaurant Award and Post won the Restaurant Award.
The head chef award went to Wildflower’s Steven Black, while the Cocktail Bartender Award went to James Connolly of Long Chim.
The State Buildings also won Perth’s Best Hospitality Venue.
