Ms Scaffidi’s lawyer Steven Penglis stated he intended to subpoena two former chief executives of the City of Perth, including one who currently resides in Queensland.

Former Perth chief executive Frank Edwards attended Ms Scaffidi’s two-day hearing in April as a witness for the Local Government Department.

Last Tuesday Ms Scaffidi was found guilty of 45 serious breaches of the Local Government Act arising from gifts and third party contributions to her travel expenses that she failed to declare properly.
