Dianella volunteer wins Perth Tourism Industry Exchange award

DIANELLA resident Patricia Sutherland won the Volunteer Host Award at the third Perth Tourism Industry Exchange awards at Perth Arena last Thursday.

Ms Sutherland is an iCity volunteer with the City of Perth.

Scott Newton, of East Perth, from the Duxton Hotel won the Concierge Award and the Front of House Award went to the Pan Pacific Hotel’s Andrew Kosasih.

There were 30 exhibitors at the event, including Maalinup Aboriginal Gallery owner Dale Tillbrook who hosted live cooking demonstrations at the WA Indigenous Tourism Operators Council stall.

She also provided tasting of kangaroo terrine and pork and lamb meatballs with bush spices.
