Salvation Army urges to donate gifts for children

DIANELLA Plaza is calling for donations to its Christmas wishing tree appeal for the Salvation Army.

The appeal will run from today to December 20 so that gifts can be distributed to those in need in time for Christmas.

Each year, the Salvos collect about 450,000 presents and hampers that go directly to the Salvation Army to distribute to disadvantaged families.

This year, gifts for babies up to 12 months, toddlers up to three years, and boys and girls aged 12 and up are required.

To donate, take a tag from the wishing tree near Woolworths, purchase a gift and indicate the age and gender of the recipient, and drop it off to the collection point at the Dianella Plaza Centre Management office.
