Salvation Army urges to donate gifts for children

Kate LeaverEastern Reporter

The appeal will run from today to December 20 so that gifts can be distributed to those in need in time for Christmas.

Each year, the Salvos collect about 450,000 presents and hampers that go directly to the Salvation Army to distribute to disadvantaged families.

This year, gifts for babies up to 12 months, toddlers up to three years, and boys and girls aged 12 and up are required.
